Report illegal content

Use this form to tell us about content on douce scroll you believe is illegal. You do not need an account. We confirm every report, decide without arbitrary judgement, and tell you the outcome.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact the police first — 110 in Germany, 112 across the EU. This form is not monitored around the clock.

Content that is merely wrong, badly translated or clumsy is not illegal — use the flag control in the app for that, it is faster and it reaches the same person. This form is for unlawful material.

What is the content, and where is it? * A link, or the card or post identifier, plus the display name of whoever posted it if you know it. We cannot act on a report we cannot locate.

Why do you believe it is illegal? * Explain in your own words. If you know which law applies, say so, but you do not need to.

How this works: the button assembles your answers into an email in your own mail program, addressed to report@douce.live. Nothing is transmitted until you press send there, and this page sets no cookies and runs no analytics. If your device has no mail program set up, just write to that address directly and include the points above.

What happens next

We confirm receipt to your email address without undue delay.
We assess the report diligently, without arbitrary judgement, and in a non-discriminatory way. A human makes the decision.
We tell you what we decided and why, and how to challenge it. If we act against content, the person who posted it gets a statement of reasons under Art. 17 DSA.
Either side may appeal within six months to appeal@douce.live. Your right to go to court is unaffected.

Misuse

Reports that are manifestly unfounded, repeated and abusive may lead us to suspend handling further reports from you for a reasonable period, after a warning.

Data protection

We process what you submit to assess and act on the report — a legal obligation under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 16 DSA. Reports and decisions are kept for up to 12 months to handle appeals and identify repeat offenders. Where we act on a report, the person who posted the content receives our statement of reasons; we do not pass on your identity unless the law requires it. Full detail in the Privacy Policy.
