Your data
Delete your account
Deleting removes your account, your progress, your saved words and your posts. It is immediate and it cannot be undone.
In the app
Settings → Your data → Delete my account, then confirm.
Next to it is Download my data, which sends you everything in a machine-readable file. If you want a copy, take it first — after deletion there is nothing left to export.
By email
If you cannot reach the app — you have lost the device, or you cannot sign in — write to privacy@douce.live from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We answer within one month, as Art. 12(3) GDPR requires, and usually much sooner.
What goes, and when

Answers you wrote for other learners stay, without your name on them. Someone asked a question, a stranger helped, and taking that back would leave them with a question and no answer.
The privacy policy sets out the rest of your rights under the GDPR, including access, correction and portability.
